Jeff Houghton - President / CEO
Mr. Houghton has been involved in the wood forest product, mining, commercial and heavy industrial construction for the last 16 years, including ownership and management of two large construction contracting companies. Mr. Houghton is a founder of Norweld and remains a principal shareholder. Mr. Houghton guides the corporate governance of the company and directly oversees the business development functions and is responsible for the overall strategic direction and operation of the company.
Karl Wiggins - Construction Coordinator
Mr. Wiggins has 20 years of experience in heavy industrial, commercial and energy construction projects. Has worked in various industries and participated in numerous successful projects both domestically and internationally in the US, Mexico, Cayman Islands and extensively across Canada. He has developed and implemented a successful disciplined approach to managing material delivery process including engineering, detailing, fabrication, shipping and installation on site. His disciplined and dedicated approach allows him to include multiple detailers and fabricators on more than one project at a time including multiple work faces. His success and vast network of delivery points allows us to offer extremely fair market value on all the projects we are associated with.
Jeremy Beacom - Construction Manager/Lead Estimator
Mr. Beacom has been involved in the wood forest product, mining, commercial, and heavy industrial construction for the past 15 years. He has extensive history with project management and coordination, major project estimation and cost control. Mr Beacom deals with Client Operations, maintenance and Project Divisions for all of Norweld's operation. Starting at the planning and project set-up phase through completion, he ensures the requirements of the front line manpower remains paramount, making certain that the product delivered by the crews is done safely, productively at the highest level of quality possible.
Richard Sellars - Mechanical Maintenance Superintendent
Mr. Sellars has 30 years experience in industrial construction, fabrication and maintenance, initially working as a Trade's person who promptly accepted the responsibilities of management including becoming a Fabrication Designer who later owned and operated his own Fabrication Facility before Joining Norweld in 2002. Mr. Sellars is responsible to collaborate with our Client Operations and Maintenance divisions to Plan, Schedule and follow-up on work performed by Norweld or subcontractors, associates, and or vendors - inspecting construction and maintenance projects making appropriate recommendations to Sr. Operation Management for improvements. Compiling bids to establish budgets for required projects/initiatives, prioritizing facility needs by location and review with Sr. Operation Management. Back to top
